Recently relocated to Phoenix from the Chicagoland area, Amy brings a depth and breadth of experience in healthcare, strategy, and business development to the forefront of her work as Executive Director. Driven by facilitating innovative and adaptable initiatives and developing actionable strategies, Amy has led with distinction across new business development, client acquisition, sales operations, hospital operations, and non-profit fundraising. Amy is excited to create and implement programs for comprehensive, inclusive, and compassionate care and service throughout the LGBTQ+ community and beyond by prioritizing patient needs while cultivating solid and lasting relationships. Amy draws from her early career experience in business, strategy development, and as a Registered Nurse. Outside of her professional life, Amy serves on various boards, plays pickleball, and values quality time with her family. She is happy to leave the snow behind as she enjoys her new surroundings in sunny Arizona.

Brandi Lawson-Garlutzo

Brandi’s roots trace back to a small town in central Illinois, with a population of just 1,500, in the heart of farm country. She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in marketing and information technology from Eastern Illinois University, setting the stage for a career spanning over two decades. With a customer service and program management background, Brandi has left her mark across multiple industries, including healthcare, education, consumer electronics, and homebuilding. She began her journey with Spectrum Medical in 2013, showcasing her passion for healthcare. Whether contributing to Spectrum’s mission of curbing the HIV epidemic or ensuring patients receive compassionate and equitable healthcare, Brandi’s work is driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact. In Brandi’s words, “When you’re fueled by love and belief in your work, it transcends mere occupation – it becomes a calling!” Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their furry companions, Barron and Thor. Brandi’s creative flair shines through in her passion for interior decorating and her hands-on approach to any DIY home improvement project that comes her way.

Ericka Saielli moved to Arizona from San Francisco Bay Area in 2020. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and social services operations, Ericka’s passion for improving patient experience, integrated health models, PCMH, and FQHC has been the driving force behind her work. As a former social worker for safety needs programs, she transitioned to healthcare with the vision to create programs that are accessible and provide whole person care. Ericka has a master’s in business administration from Grand Canyon University. Her education and leadership skills have allowed her to create programs that are sustainable. As a certified project manager, program manager and grants director, Ericka executed multiple projects and programs in healthcare, public health, and social services. She consistently delivers value, quality, and impact to the patients, staff, and stakeholders she serves.

Victor E. Avila

Director of Marketing and Community Engagement

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Victor found his passion to serve the Phoenix community during his tenure at Bank of America where he volunteered for several causes. Realizing his passion to serve, he made the transition into the nonprofit sector in 2016 where he went to work for Phoenix Pride with responsibilities for producing the LGBTQ+ cultural celebration events in the valley. Victor has also worked for Aunt Rita’s Foundation where he utilized his passion and skills to educate the community about the importance of HIV treatment and prevention, as well as the important message of U=U to help eliminate the stigma around HIV. Victor is skilled in relationship-building and community outreach, organizational communication, event production, and fundraising. Currently attending NAU, when Victor isn’t working or studying, he enjoys spending time with his beloved papillon, Jacque!
